Any piece of Authorised equipment at a venue can be changed through the application process. These changes include:

  • Installing EGMs, LPJSs, MTGMs, Subsidiary Equipment
  • Converting elements of the game, or the entire game itself.
  • Attaching or Detaching EGMs to/from LPJSs.
  • Disposing EGMs, LPJSs, MTGMs, Subsidiary Equipment.

When an iSAP or LPJS is Converted or Disposed, a Dispersal record will be created. Each dispersal record is automatically assigned a unique identification number, called a Dispersal Number.

Start the Change Equipment Process

  1. Navigate to the “Equipment to be Changed or Installed” section in the Quickchange application.
  2. Select the “Change Existing Equipment” button from the Equipment.
  3. A new page will load with the title “Change Existing Equipment.

Converting

To perform a convert, the user must have selected “Change Equipment” as a work item, selected their GMID installed at a Venue, and chosen the option to “Convert”.

The action of converting an EGM or Controller is changing or overhauling elements of the machine installed at a Venue. That may include changing Model details such as;

  • Specification or Version.
  • EGM specific details, such as the Variation or Denomination
  • Controller specific details, such as the Mystery Progressive levels.
  • Classification specific details, such as the MTGM groups, or SAP levels.
  • Or, even just changing Attachments

Attachments

To perform an Attach/Detach, the user must have selected “Change Equipment” as a work item, selected their GMID installed at a Venue, and chosen the option to “Attach/Detach”.

The action to Attach/Detach is only available for Mystery Progressive Controllers as a work item, and changes the connected equipment for a specific Controller. To change the attachments of an individual EGM to a Standard Controller, this can be done through a conversion work item.

In some instances, the action to Attach/Detach may cause other installations at a Venue to become erroneous, and they will need to be corrected to progress the Application.

Disposals

To perform a Dispose, the user must have selected “Change Equipment” as a work item, selected their GMID installed at a Venue, and chosen the option to “Dispose”.

The action to Dispose will remove the equipment from the Venue floor, and remove any attachments that the equipment has to other equipment. Furthermore the user will need to select Seller details as the Equipment (GMID) will not be available in the Venue.

In some instances, the action to Dispose may cause other installations at a Venue to become erroneous, and they will need to be corrected to progress the Application.
